Monad 1 - the first iteration, the first Monad and the first face of the work. Monad situates webcam footage, projection mapping and texting both within the time space of the film and in the real time space outside, reformulating itself with each screening until Monad becomes fully saturated or until submarine internet cables stop working, whichever comes first.

Dana Dawud is an artist and writer thinking through the aesthetics of seeing, listening and the tactile between the online and the offline.
